Safeguarding Statement

Parent-led contact

SkyHi Tech Academy is based in New Zealand and teaches online. A parent or guardian should register their child and provide their own contact details. Trial arrangements are made with the parent or guardian on WhatsApp, not through a child's personal account.

Please keep contact about your child's classes in a conversation involving their parent or guardian. Ask our team before enrolment about tutor suitability checks, supervision arrangements and the safeguarding procedures relevant to your booking; this page does not claim a particular UK accreditation or background-check status.

During online sessions

A parent or guardian should be available during online classes and help their child use a suitable, shared learning space. Learners should not share home addresses, private phone numbers, passwords or other sensitive personal information in class chat.

Respectful behaviour is expected. Bullying, harassment, inappropriate content and requests for private contact with a child should be raised with the parent or guardian and our team immediately. Ask us about any recording arrangements before your child attends.

Reporting a concern

Report a safeguarding concern to hello@skyhitechacademy.co.nz or call +64 22 177 0399. Include enough information to identify the session and describe the concern, but avoid forwarding unnecessary sensitive material. Do not wait for a routine class or trial reply if a child may be at immediate risk.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services: 999 or 112 in the UK, or 111 in New Zealand. You can also contact the appropriate local child-protection authority for advice.
